Late this spring, I was awarded a scholarship from The Foundation for Medical Excellence. This award recognizes medical students who are leaders, have strong academic records and are involved in community service. I was also asked to give a short speech on behalf of all the award recipients. In the photo, I am pictured with Dr. Ed Keenan, President of the Foundation.
